Our collaborative pianists play a pivotal role across every facet of the music department. We can be seen in choral, operatic, and instrumental rehearsals and concerts. We collaborate with students, faculty, guest artists, auditionees, and guest clinicians.
We also play an integral part in teaching students how to work with a collaborative pianist. We help them learn about professional courtesies, how to be prepared for both rehearsals and performances, how to wisely budget their time as well as ours.
