Dr. Sobaskie published on French music
A peer-reviewed publication of MSU music theory professor James Sobaskie entitled “Critical Responses to Nineteenth-Century French Music” has been released by Nineteenth Century Music Review within the FirstView section of the UK-based journal’s website. Introducing a special issue of essays devoted to French music featuring articles by American and Canadian musicians that was commissioned and guest-edited by Dr. Sobaskie, the article soon will appear within a bound volume of the journal, which is published by Cambridge University Press.
